6/7/2018 0 Comments Day 2 at Disney World Day 2 was Christmas Eve. I enjoy Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day because the anticipation is so cool. We started our day at Chef Mickey’s. Chef Mickey’s is located in the Contemporary Resort. It is an awesome buffet of good food but the best part is that Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto come to your table for pictures and a party! This meal is worth it because it allows you to avoid the long park lines to see the characters for pictures.
After Chef Mickey's we headed to the Animal Kingdom. The Animal Kingdom was probably Sydney's second favorite park because it included animals and Mickey Mouse! When people think of the Animal Kingdom, they often think of a large zoo. While there are a lot of awesome animals, there are also fun rides and great performances. We had fast passes for the Kilimanjaro Safari. It is important to get fast passes for this attraction because the line is LONG! This was easily one of the best safari rides we have been on. We also enjoyed the Lion King performance. This is another great use of the Fast Pass. Sydney was very engaged in the performance. The best thing about staying on property with a toddler is being able to head to your room for nap time. After nap time, we went to Epcot to have a wonderful Italian meal and experience the Candlelight Processional. The Candlelight Processional is a Disney Christmas tradition. I recommend booking the meal package so you won’t have to wait in line to possibly get a seat. We ended Christmas Eve with a trip to Hollywood Studios. This was the last year of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. It was breathtaking.
